Wellness Exams and Profiles

During every exam Dr. Lenarduzzi or Dr. Emerson will check hearing, eyesight, and the cardiovascular system. The oral cavity will be examined to check for early stages of dental disease as well as progression and gingivitis. The abdominal cavity will be palpated as well as all joints and muscle bodies. Your pet will also be checked for any parasites including heartworms, E. Canis, Anaplasmosis and Lyme disease, which can cause serious health issues. A general wellness profile can be performed to check your pets' liver and kidney functions. Our goal with our thorough exams is to detect any health issues early and keep your pet healthy and happy. Each exam is tailored to your pet's age and condition.

Exotic Wellness Exams

Species treated: Birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, Hedgehogs, ferrets, chinchillas, rats, gerbils, hamster's and all reptiles. During this yearly exam Dr. Lenarduzzi or Dr. Emerson will check hearing, eyesight, and the cardiovascular system. The oral cavity will be examined to check for dental disease, tooth overgrowth and the choana of birds. The abdomen will be palpated as well as all joints and muscle bodies. Your pet will also be checked for any parasites. Exotic wellness profiles can be performed to check the liver, kidneys and overall status. Our goal with this exam is to detect any health issues early and keep your pet healthy and happy. Each exam is tailored to your pet's species, age and condition.

Vaccinations

We offer annual and three years vaccines. We will determine what is best for each pet and design a specific vaccine regime for him or her. We also offer ferret and avian vaccines.

Microchipping

We offer the resQ pet tracking system, which has easy registration online and has free yearly membership. We can also microchip birds and other exotic species.

Allergy Testing and Management

We offer all panels of allergen testing. We will evaluate your pet's symptoms and choose the allergen panel best suited for them. After the results are in we will design a treatment protocol just for their specific needs.
